Head Injury, Athletic recovery, wound care, TBI PTSD, Dr. Manchikes is a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), a fellow in Critical Care Medicine, post doctoral fellow in pain medicine and is a certified HBOT chamber operator.

Dr. Manchikes has 25 years experience treating patients with a very broad range of pathology in and out of the operating room, and in the practice of anesthesiology – the science and practice of treating painful conditions using inhaled anesthetic gases, intravenous narcotics and nerve blocks including neuraxial procedures (spinals and epidurals). Dr. Manchikes is also involved in the complex physics and pharmacology of traditional pain management treatments.

Dr. Manchikes has 16,000 hours of emergency room practice in large volume departments. This involves management of mundane and critically ill patients. Few MDs have this depth and breadth of experience. His management experience includes as owner /operator of Maysville Anesthesia/Critical Care and Pain Medicine from 1998 to 2002
